Gettysburg Area School District uses Canvas as the learning management system (LMS) for grades 6-12. Canvas supports our district and school visions by providing access to a rigorous and relevant curriculum, establishing a positive and interactive learning environment in which students will responsibly develop skills that lead to future success. Students should log in to Canvas through their My dashboard/Classlink. 

To allow time for teachers to get acclimated with Canvas, parent access will be given in the future. Parents should always reference Skyward for grading purposes as that will be the most accurate reflection of student grades. 

The Canvas Student app allows students to access their courses and groups using a mobile device. Students can submit assignments, participate in discussions, view grades and course materials. The app also provides access to course calendars, To Do items, notifications, and Conversations messages. Canvas Student requires a Canvas account and is available for both Android and iOS devices.
