GASD School Year Information

Remain a GASD Student Throughout Your Educational Journey and GASD Cyber logo

Our district recognizes that cyber learning is an excellent option for some students, offering advantages like personalized learning, individual pacing and unique secondary course offerings that may not be available in the physical school buildings. The GASD Cyber program is an innovative way of looking at how we offer learning to our students.

Students in grades K-12 receive services through Lincoln EDGE in partnership with Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12. Grades K-5 involves both self-paced work and live online instruction with a teacher. Grades 6-12 are self-paced with videos, interactive activities, readings, checkpoints, and more.

Applications are open for the 2026-2027 school year. Please contact your child's building principal, counselor, or Mrs. Grossman to discuss your family's interest in cyber school. Applications are completed online and submitted to GASD for approval: Lincoln Edge Application.

GAHS Summer School

Students have access to summer course offerings through Lincoln Edge cyber programming. The intent of this option is to recover up to two course credits by completing Credit Recovery courses or, in approved situations, students may choose to complete summer coursework for Credit Advancement.

Here is a link to our summer school information and application page: Lincoln EDGE Summer School.

There are separate directions for applying if the student is a current or former Lincoln EDGE student.
Please reach out if you have any questions. Start by talking with your counselor. Students should communicate with their school counselor to determine which course would be beneficial and acceptable. Counselors can recommend the course(s) that best match your academic needs. A school official’s signature is required on the enrollment
application. Enrollments in summer courses are approved for students who meet the following criteria:

  • Students seeking Credit Recovery must have already taken the course but failed to earn the credit.
  • Students seeking Credit Advancement must have a need based on future scheduling conflicts or course overload.
