The Foundation
GAEF is registered as an IRS 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and is governed by a Board of Directors.  GAEF functions as an independent entity of the District with a joint goal of providing a great place to learn.

Our Mission
The mission of the Gettysburg Area Education Foundation is to enhance student educational, social, and cultural experiences through community support.  

Vision Statement
Gettysburg Area Education Foundation partners with the Gettysburg Area School District and the community to ensure quality educational experiences.

GAEF Core Values
The work of the Gettysburg Area Education Foundation is rooted in these beliefs:
