What is the Gettysburg High School Alumni Association?

The first class to formerly graduate from Gettysburg High School was the class of 1887 with 12 graduates. Since then, over 21,000 students have joined them to become the Alumni of Gettysburg High School. Founded in 1901, the Alumni Association is one of the oldest ongoing high school alumni associations in the nation.

What do you need to do to become a member?

If you are a graduate of Gettysburg High School you are a member. If you have been lost from our mailing roster and wish to be included, please get in touch with us.

Is this your class reunion year?

If you are helping your class prepare for a reunion and would like to receive a class roster with names and current addresses or mailing labels, please contact us.
If you haven't received any word from your class about your reunion, contact us with your current address and the alumni registrar will try to connect you with your class representative.

Join us for the following events:

The Annual Homecoming Football Game will be on Friday, September 12, 2025 vs Northern HS. Come on out to Warrior Field and support your home team!
The Annual Alumni Banquet is held on the second Saturday in June, which for 2026 will be June 13th. It will be held at the Aspire Hotel once again. Get a group of classmates together and reserve a table and mingle with other Gettysburg graduates.
Alumni Council meetings are held three times a year (in March, July and November) and we welcome any graduates to join us. The March meeting will be held at 11:45am on March 12, 2026 at Hoss's Steak & Sea House, 1140 York Rd, Gettysburg.

Yearbooks and HS memorabilia:

The Alumni Association will gladly accept old Gettysburg High School yearbooks and other HS memorabilia. If you or a family member would like to donate a class yearbook, please contact us at gettysburghsalumni@comcast.net

Alumni Park

ALUMNI PARK
Dedicated in June of 1996, Alumni Park was a partnership project of Main Street Gettysburg, Inc. and the Gettysburg High School Alumni Association developed as part of the Gettysburg Historic Pathway project. Located at the mid-point of the Pathway, the park is designed as a resting area for the millions of Gettysburg visitors who walk this historic corridor.

Alumni Park honors graduates of Gettysburg Area schools. A pathway of over 1,400 bricks engraved with names and class years of Gettysburg alumni winds through the tree-shaded plot. Located at the corner of Baltimore and Lefever Streets, the park includes a display of the old High Street School bell.

Stop by and take a walk down "Memory Lane" where many of your fellow classmates have purchased bricks engraved with their name and class year. If you are interested in purchasing a brick to be placed in the Park, please e-mail or see attached brochure.
