Kindergarten Registration: Gettysburg Area School District invites parents of children who will be 5 years old before September 1, 2024, to register their child for kindergarten. Kindergarten registration is now open. If you are new to the district and do not have any other children enrolled, please click the link under "New Family & Students to the District." If you already have children enrolled in the district and need to enroll a child for Kindergarten, please click the link under "Returning Family to District."

Grades 1-12 Registration: Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now open.

New Family & Students to the District

For new families and students to the District: Click here to register your child (new students only)

Who can enroll a student: A child may be enrolled by a biological parent/adoptive parent or court-appointed guardian.

Enrollment Year - Please select the 2024-2025 school year.

It is the parent/guardian's responsibility to provide the following: 

• Proof of age: Examples are a child’s birth certificate or passport, baptismal certificate or hospital record letter.
• Immunization records
• Student Physical (Required for students entering kindergarten, sixth and eleventh grades and all new students coming from out of state)
• Dental Records (Required for students entering kindergarten, first and fifth grades and all new students coming out of state) 
• Proof of Residency (one required): Acceptable documents to establish residency include a deed, a lease, utility bills, vehicle registration, driver’s license or Department of Transportation identification card with current address
• Parent Photo ID

Returning Family to the District

Existing GASD families or students returning to the district, please click here to register.

            Note: For returning students, or anyone who has or has had a student(s) already registered at GASD, a generic login is provided to you.

Initial Password Setup (for returning families)

• First 5 letters of your last name (the parent who registered the student(s)),
• First three letters of your first name,
• Followed by three zeros (0).
• Example: Parent John Miller would be millejoh000

After registering online and all required documents have been submitted, Central Registration will notify the appropriate school confirming registration is complete. Failure to submit ALL of the required documents could delay the student's start date.
