Volunteer Information and Instructions
The two mandatory clearances for ALL volunteers are the Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance and the Act 34 Pennsylvania State Police Clearance. There is no charge for these clearances when you choose Volunteer. If you have continuously resided in Pennsylvania for ten years AND complete the Volunteer Verification Form swearing that you have never been convicted of a disqualifying crime, the FBI Federal Criminal History Clearance is not needed. If you have NOT been a resident of Pennsylvania for the last ten years, you must apply for an FBI clearance.
