• Dear Class of 2024 and Parents/Guardians –

We know it’s only May, but your senior year will be here before you know it!  Brienna Richelle Smith, of Brienna Richelle Photography, will be taking our senior photos again this year.

Senior portraits are photographed between May 30 - September 1.  We encourage you to take the time to look through this information and schedule your senior session by the end of May to ensure a time that works for you.

Please visit Brienna’s website to view all of the information that you need to schedule your senior session, including a short video with detailed information regarding what to wear for the portrait as well as the options for sessions and ordering.  Package options and pricing are listed on the website as well.  https://briennarichelle.com/hs-seniors

Schedule your session online through the links on Brienna’s website, or by clicking the links at the end of this email.

Students are required to have their formal portrait taken to be included in the yearbook. The formal session will take approximately 15 minutes. There is a $25 session fee (plus sales tax) for the formal portrait, which includes full editing of the selected photo (including removal of blemishes, shine, glare on glasses, etc.), submission of the formal portrait to the yearbook, and a complimentary 5x7 print.

Students will be able to view their proofs at their session, and select the photo that they would like for the yearbook at that time. Parents are encouraged to attend the session.  A gallery of up to 4 edited proofs will be emailed to you about 2 weeks after your session for ordering purposes.

Yearbook Formal Attire, what to wear…

The studio provides a tux outfit or you may wear your own white or light colored dress shirt, dark tie, and dark jacket (black, navy, or gray).  If you would like to wear the tux, it will go right on top of your t-shirt.

The studio provides the formal black drape or you may choose to wear a dark colored dress (must have sleeves) or blouse.  The drape sits off the shoulder, so please wear a strapless bra or one with straps that can be pushed off the shoulder (not a sports bra).

The yearbook photo is just a head and shoulders photo, so you can stay in your jeans or shorts.

*Be sure to shave, comb your hair, and brush your teeth before arriving at the studio for your formal portrait.

Students may choose to select a portrait session that includes additional casual outfits and outdoor locations in addition to the yearbook formal. These options include:

YEARBOOK AND ONE LOOK $45 session fee (plus sales tax)

The Yearbook and One Look is a 30 minute session that includes the yearbook formal portrait and one casual outfit. We will begin with the yearbook formal, and then you can change into a casual outfit for outdoor photos at my studio. To ensure that you love your yearbook formal, we will view those proofs and select your favorite for the yearbook during your session. We will then schedule a follow-up date for your ordering appointment to view your casual photos, or view them at home through an online gallery link. All yearbook photos and orders will be fully retouched. (Including removal of blemishes, shine, glare on glasses, etc.) You will also receive a 5×7 print of the image that you select for the yearbook.  (See what to wear information above for formal portrait attire.)

THE SENIOR EXPERIENCE $115 session fee (plus sales tax)

The Senior Experience includes the yearbook formal portrait, casual shots in the studio and an additional outdoor location, and up to 3 outfits. This is a 90 minute session. To ensure that you love your yearbook formal, we will view those proofs and select your favorite for the yearbook during your session. We will schedule a follow-up appointment for your ordering appointment about 2 weeks after your session.  All yearbook photos and orders will be fully retouched. (Including removal of blemishes, shine, glare on glasses, etc.) You will also receive a 5×7 print of the image that you select for the yearbook. (See what to wear information above for formal portrait attire.)

In order to meet the yearbook deadlines, all formal portraits must be taken by September 1.  Brienna has set aside specific days in her schedule for senior portraits, and sessions are scheduled on a first come first serve basis.  Schedule early for the most availability.

Please be aware that sessions are scheduled throughout the day; and it is important to be on time for your appointment. Plan to arrive about five minutes before your session time.  Arriving late or unprepared to start will result in less time for your session and the possibility of needing to reschedule if there is another senior scheduled after your session.

Please note, all sessions will be photographed at the Brienna Richelle Photography Studio, located at 25 Montclair Road, Gettysburg.
