School Hours
School offices are open 12 months a year. For summer 2020, school offices are open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Additional School Hours Information
The high school day begins at 7:30 a.m. Arrivals after 7:30 a.m. are considered tardy. Tardy students MUST report to the office for an admittance slip. The high school dismisses at 2:35 p.m.
The middle school day begins at 7:25 a.m. and dismisses at 2:35 p.m.
Elementary schools begin at 8:45 a.m. Students who are transported by parents or who walk to school should arrive at 8:30 a.m. Students walking, getting a ride to school or riding the school bus may enter the building at 8:20 a.m. for breakfast.* Arrivals after 8:45 a.m. are considered tardy. Students arriving after 11:05 a.m. will be considered absent for one-half day. Students leaving school before 1 p.m. and not returning will be considered absent for one-half day. Elementary schools are dismissed at 3:20 p.m.*UPDATE: This time has been moved from 8:25 to 8:20 to provide ample time for students to eat breakfast. If your child is eating breakfast at school in the morning, please ensure they arrive as close to 8:20 as possible.
Note: If your child will be eating school breakfast, they should arrive at 8:20 a.m. and go directly to the cafeteria.
Half-Days: No lunch is served. The middle and high school dismiss at 11 a.m. Elementary schools dismiss at noon.

Educational Trips and Visitations
Students will be permitted to take educational trips, not to exceed a total of five (5) school days during a school year. Parents and guardians must comply with the following program requirements:
• An Educational Trip Form must be completed and submitted to the principal 7-days prior to the trip for approval. If the form is not submitted, the days absent will be recorded as unexcused. Forms may be obtained at the school office or by clicking this link.
• Students are responsible for completion of all work and activities missed during the absence.
• Educational trips will not be approved for the last ten days of school.
• College visitations must be arranged through the high school guidance office and are normally provided only for juniors and seniors. -
Religious Holidays
For those who celebrate holidays other than Christmas and Easter, please notify your child’s principal prior to an absence. These days will be regarded as legal absences and schoolwork will be made up.
