GASD Parent Climate Survey

  • Our mission, day-in and day-out, is to make sure that we are providing a place where students feel physically, intellectually, emotionally and culturally safe and are celebrated for what they all can bring to the learning environment.

In recognition of the importance of school climate, the Pennsylvania Department of Education has developed a survey to assess the perception of school climate and safety among students, parents, staff and community members. The survey is intended to provide a snapshot of current data about the aspects of Gettysburg Area School District that support a positive learning and working environment and that promotes academic success among all students.

The climate survey will allow GASD’s leadership team to celebrate strengths, monitor changes over time and respond to areas of change. Please let us know what you think by completing an anonymous survey at: https://bit.ly/3APOcFX or by scanning the QR image below with your smartphone’s camera.Parent Climate Survey QR Code to Scan with Smart Phone Camera AppThe survey is now open and will remain open until November 30, 2021. The survey is available in both English and Spanish. Please help us improve the school climate by taking 5-10 minutes to complete the survey. If you have children that attend different schools in the district, please complete a survey for each of your children’s schools.

Thank you for your help in our efforts to keep our schools a safe place for learning.
