• FOOD RECALLS

     

    Ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers is top priority here at the Gettysburg Area School District. When a food recall notice is received from the United States Department of Agriculture or a food manufacturer the product is immediately identified and removed from production, taken off the menus and is not served. The suspected food is segregated from other food and is secured so that it is not used. The product is then returned or destroyed per the manufacturer’s instructions.
