First and Fourth Grade buddies created Mayflower boats (see STEM page directions in photos).  They discovered the clay was too heavy to float.  Some students got creative and used Tootsie Roll wrappers as a base.  Others used the baggie the materials were distributed with to protect their boat.  STEM encouarages students to think outside the box!
