On Thursday, November 9, James Gettys Elementary School held a Veterans Day Assesmbly.  The JROTC presented the Procession of Colors, which was followed by the singing of the "Star Spangled Banner" and the Pledge of Allegiance.  Mrs. Harrison welcomed all Veterans and their families in attendence, and remarks were made by Mrs. Jen Daniels who's son is serving currently in the Marine Corps.  We thank Mr. Jonas Sterner, Music Teacher, for organizing the assembly.  A special THANK YOU to ALL Veterans!
