• CHS and Articulated Credits

Adams County Tech Prep students have the opportunity to earn college credit in 3 different ways,

    depending on your specific program:

HACC College in the High School credits are available to students in Culinary Arts, Law Enforcement, and Allied Health. These credits appear as graded courses on your college transcript, and may be transferred to other colleges. Some classes require placement testing prior to entrance into the course. Students must apply to HACC and pay a $50 per credit fee. This is a huge savings over the typical cost of a HACC credit. If you plan on continuing your education, you are encouraged to consider CHS credits.  Click on the following link for the HACC.edu CHS program:

Articulation Agreements have been set up between Adams County Tech Prep and some postsecondary institutions. These credits are free and require students to meet eligibility requirements related to grades and competencies. These articulations are only for specific schools, and cannot be transferred.  For more information contact the Tech Prep Director.

SOAR (Students Occupationally & Academically Ready) credits are also articulated credits. These are available to you if you are in the tech prep programs. You can learn more about these credits  at http://www.techlinkpa.com/

The articulated credits are being updated regularly so please check on the link below for the most up to date information:
