In Memory of - Mrs. Lisa Myers

Mrs. Myers was on medical leave during the 2022-2023 school year when she passed away on January 20, 2023. Mrs. Bort will be the long-term substitute filling in for Mrs. Myers during the 2022-2023 school year.

Mrs. Myers earned a degree in elementary education from Shippensburg University, and in 2000, realized a lifelong dream by graduating with a master's degree in library science from Clarion University.  Prior to her employment with Gettysburg Area School District, she was an elementary classroom teacher, a public library children's librarian, and a part-time reference librarian.   

Mrs. Myers lived in Carlisle with her husband, two daughters, and a book-loving dog, Flynn.
